Measuring Agrios Refill and Support Cycles Before Estimating Daily Work

Build a local time study covering preparation, refill support, operation, movement, checks, and post-task handling before estimating an Agrios workday.

Measuring Agrios Refill and Support Cycles Before Estimating Daily Work

Define the cycle being measured

Daily work cannot be estimated from airborne application time alone. Define a cycle with clear start and finish events, including preparation, appropriate loading support, checks, operation, return, and readiness for the next task. State whether travel and end-of-day work are included separately. NiVO Agrios offers listed capacity options, but tank volume does not supply the missing time observations. The study should describe the actual proposed workflow rather than assume one universal productivity figure.

Use a representative task

Choose parcels, access, support arrangements, and equipment configuration resembling the intended operation. Confirm technical application requirements through qualified personnel and relevant instructions. Do not derive dosage, mixtures, or permitted use from a tank label. FAO's older aerial-application guidance provides general process context; actual work must follow current applicable instructions and the equipment-specific procedure. Record which circumstances the trial represents and which planned jobs remain outside its evidence.

Agree timestamp definitions

Assign observable events to preparation completion, refill readiness, operation start, return, checks, and the next ready state. Decide who records them and how interruptions are categorized. Avoid overlapping categories that count one delay twice. A simple synchronized worksheet can be sufficient if another reviewer understands the definitions. Preserve exceptions such as waiting for support or a changed task rather than deleting them to produce an unrealistically smooth sequence of cycles.

Separate equipment and support effects

Record relevant configuration, team arrangement, movement between parcels, and reasons for waiting. A long cycle may reflect access or support organization rather than aircraft capability. Conversely, a prepared support point can make a trial appear better than the intended remote operation. Compare like circumstances and identify the bottleneck explicitly. Do not attribute every timing difference to capacity, or transfer one trial's observations to another Agrios variant without confirming the complete configuration and operating conditions.

Review work quality alongside time

The fastest cycle is not necessarily an acceptable application. The responsible technical team must determine whether work meets the agreed method and evidence requirements. Record rejected or repeated tasks separately. Do not present traversed area or consumed liquid as proof of effective coverage. Include checks and post-task responsibilities in the evaluation rather than treating them as avoidable delays. A useful time study measures a workflow that can actually deliver the required task quality.

Publish an assumption-based estimate

Use observed cycles to build a transparent planning estimate with stated field conditions, support needs, interruptions, and remaining unknowns. Keep measured observations separate from extrapolated daily totals. Explain what would change the estimate, including access, staffing, energy support, or another application requirement. Bring the cycle record to NiVO Agrios consultation. The result should support a realistic local operating plan without promising identical daily performance, endurance, or coverage across every capacity, product, parcel, and season.
